Dunham Bush Fan Coil Horizontal Basic Unit

The HB fan coil unit is designed for varied types of concealed installations such as above dropped ceilings, or over closets in commercial establishments, hotels, motels and apartments. This unit is hung by four bolt holes insulated with rubber grommets to prevent vibration from being transmitted to the buildings. When the easily removed blower assembly is detached from the coil, the complete entering face of the coil is exposed for cleaning. The standard unit has a one inch supply air duct collar for ease in connecting ductwork.

The HBP unit is a Horizontal Basic fan coil unit with a return air plenum added, to cut field fabrication and labor costs. The
plenum has a one inch return air duct collar located in the bottom which can be field changed to the rear. Filter tracks
and filter are standard. Access to the motor/blower assembly is gained through a panel in the glass fiber lined plenum. Fan motor leads are routed through a flexible conduit and terminate in a junction box located on the side of the plenum opposite the piping connections.

The 'HC' Horizontal cabinet fan coil unit is designed for those concealed overhead installations which require supply and return ductwork with a cabinet. A one inch duct collar is fabricated into the front and rear panels of the cabinet for ductwork connection. A removable bottom panel and side panel is also incorporated into the cabinet to provide access to the blower assembly, valves and piping. The unit is completely insulated with glass fiber insulation for thermal and sound
protection and is equipped with a one inch throwaway filter.

The "HE" fan coil unit is of low static design for exposed 'under ceiling' mounting in commercial establishments, hotels
and motels. The cabinet is painted with an attractive baked on champagne beige which may be used as is, or may be
painted any of eight optional colors to match the color scheme of a particular application. Included with the unit
are a hinged return air grille, a full single deflection supply air grille and a one inch throwaway filter. The cabinet is
lined with fiberglass to dampen vibration and attenuate sound. This quiet unit also has a completely removable
bottom and side panel for access to valves, piping and blower assembly.

The vertical cabinet fan coil unit is designed for installation in space behind furred in walls, closets with louvered doors and for any installation that requires a vertical supply air duct. It features a removable front panel for complete access to the coil and motor blower assembly and it is also acoustically and thermally insulated. The one inch throwaway filter is easily removed and installed without removing the front panel. The standard unit provides for front return air as is shown. Or,
bottom return with optional 3" legs may be specified.
